PRETTYGANG HAIR EXTENSIONS

CLIENT CARE AGREEMENT, WARRANTY & LIABILITY DISCLOSURE

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
By purchasing, installing, or wearing PRETTYGANG Hair Extensions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all care instructions, policies, and limitations outlined below.

Failure to follow these guidelines WILL void all warranties, exchanges, and claims.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

* PRETTYGANG extensions are made from 100% human hair.
* Because human hair is a natural product, slight variations in color, tone, texture, and wave pattern may occur between batches.
* These variations are normal and not considered defects.

BEFORE APPLICATION

* Wash natural hair with an anti-residue or clarifying shampoo before installation.
* DO NOT apply oils, masks, keratin, botox, or heavy conditioning treatments prior to installation, as this may affect adhesion and longevity.
* Any smoothing or keratin treatments must be completed at least 3 days before extension installation.

DAILY CARE & BRUSHING

* Brush hair 2–3 times daily using a soft bristle or wet brush.
* Always start at the ends and work upward toward the roots.
* Hold hair close to the scalp while brushing to reduce tension at attachment points.
* Improper brushing may cause matting, shedding, breakage, or tension — this is not a product defect.

WASHING, MOISTURE & PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

* Hair extensions do NOT receive natural oils or moisture from the scalp, as they are not biologically attached to the head.
* Because of this, external moisture and proper product use are REQUIRED to maintain softness, longevity, and appearance.

* Clients must wash extensions using PRETTYGANG Moisture Repair Shampoo and Conditioner only.
* Use the PRETTYGANG Intense Moisture Masque once weekly to maintain hydration.
* After every wash, clients must apply PRETTYGANG Leave-In Elixir, Silk Serum, Blowout Balm, and/or Ultralight Shine Mist from mid-shaft to ends only.

⚠️ Failure to properly moisturize extensions will result in dryness, tangling, breakage, shedding, and premature wear. This is NOT a product defect.

This is NON-NEGOTIABLE for extension longevity.
Use of non-approved, drying, or incompatible products voids all warranties, exchanges, and quality-related claims.

HEAT STYLING & DAMAGE DISCLOSURE

* Maximum recommended heat: 350–356°F (180°C)
* Keratin tips: Do not exceed 302°F (150°C) during application.
* Always use a heat protectant before styling.

IMPORTANT:
Excessive heat, overheating tools, or improper styling will cause:
* dryness
* burning
* breakage
* permanent shortening of the hair

Heat damage is permanent and easily identifiable by licensed professionals.
Heat damage is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered under warranty.

COLORING, BLEACHING & CHEMICAL SERVICES

* DO NOT color, bleach, tone, or chemically alter extensions at home.
* Always consult a licensed professional stylist.
* Extensions are pre-processed and require professional handling.

NO EXCEPTIONS:

If extensions are bleached, colored, toned, cut, chemically altered, or modified in ANY way, the 14-day issue reporting period is IMMEDIATELY VOID.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON ALTERED EXTENSIONS.

SWIMMING, SUN & WATER EXPOSURE

* Before swimming, wet hair with fresh water and apply leave-in conditioner to the ends.
* Secure hair in a loose braid or bun and wear a hat when possible.
* Rinse immediately after swimming and reapply leave-in conditioner.

Chlorine, salt water, hard water, minerals, and UV exposure may cause dryness or discoloration.
These are environmental factors, not product defects.

A shower filter is strongly recommended.

SUNSCREEN & CHEMICAL DISCOLORATION WARNING

Avoid sunscreens containing Avobenzone or Octocrylene.

These ingredients can cause pink, peach, or brassy discoloration, especially in blonde, ash, or light-colored extensions.

⚠️ This discoloration is caused by a chemical reaction from skincare products — NOT a hair defect.
Discoloration from sunscreen, skincare, makeup, self-tanner, or environmental exposure is NOT covered under warranty.

SLEEPING & BEDTIME CARE

* Never sleep with wet hair.
* Secure hair in a loose braid or ponytail before bed.
* Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and tangling.

EXTENSION-SPECIFIC CARE

Tape-Ins

* Press tapes firmly during installation to avoid air bubbles.
* Maintenance required every 6–8 weeks, depending on lifestyle.
* Minor adhesive loosening over time is normal.

Keratin Tips

* Do not cut more than 25% of the flat tip before installation.
* Microcapsules must be cut vertically only.
* Avoid overheating tips during application.

Clip-Ins

* Remove before sleeping.
* Wash only as needed.
* Avoid excessive moisture near clips.

MIXING BRANDS

For best results, do NOT mix PRETTYGANG extensions with hair from other brands in the same application.
Mixing hair sources voids all quality and warranty claims.

WARRANTY & RETURNS POLICY

* All concerns must be reported within 14 days of purchase and before the hair is installed, altered, cut, colored, or chemically treated.
* NO refunds on in-store or online purchases.
* Exchanges may be considered only if hair is unused, unaltered, and in original condition.
* Warranty does NOT cover:
    •    improper care
    •    heat damage
    •    chemical damage
    •    neglect
    •    dryness
    •    shedding due to misuse
    •    discoloration over time
    •    environmental or product-related reactions

* I understand that improper care, heat misuse, chemical alteration, or product incompatibility will damage extensions
* I understand that licensed stylists can identify misuse and damage
* I agree that failure to follow these guidelines voids all warranties and claims
